Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

Dayton is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Dayton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I found this practice when I needed them most. After a previous dental office left me in significant pain and told me I only had a sensitive tooth, this office got me in right away and discovered I actually had an infected tooth. I’m so grateful they took the time to find the real problem. Since then, my family and I have continued our care here, and we couldn’t be happier. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and professional—a special shout-out to Jessica, who always greets patients with a smile and explains everything thoroughly. There are multiple hygienists, so no long wait time. One of them will get you back and taken care of pretty quickly. Dr. K is friendly, gentle, caring, and made my visit as comfortable as possible. We’ve had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for quality dental care.

It’s been a while since I have been to the dentist, and admittedly I was nervous! The staff at this location made me so incredibly comfortable and welcome. We set up a plan to get my smile heathly again. I appreciate their attention to detail and true compassion for their patients! I would definitely recommend the Riverside location to anyone!

I’m a new patient, just had my intake appointment and I’m so pleased with the service I received. The staff were very friendly and professional. I felt heard by Dr. Sellers and he addressed all my concerns. I’m looking forward to my next visit. I trust that I am in good hands. Highly recommend!

I’ve been to many different dentists throughout the years and I have to say that this office is BY FAR the BEST I’ve ever been to! Where do I start? Well… I have all of my wisdom teeth and they have no crowding issues. I needed fillings in them and every other dentist I went to always pushed me to pull them and would not fill them. At DCD, they saw no issues with their position and filled them without me even having to ask. I am so thankful they did this for me since there were no problems aside from a couple cavities and I was able to keep my teeth healthy without going through expensive surgery that I was terrified of doing. I really feel like I am treated as an individual person here instead of just another mouth in the chair. Dr. Sellers is so kind, professional and knowledgeable. All of the dental hygienists/assistants are sweet, personable, helpful and kind. The front desk ladies always greet you with kindness and a smile. The office’s communication is stellar. They aren’t judgmental at all when it comes to someone’s oral health. On top of everything else, they are quick and efficient while also ensuring they do a great job. I cannot recommend Dayton Comprehensive Dentistry e

My cleaning was good, however, I don’t recommend this company for two reasons: 1. I referred a family of five and, per their policy, clients get a $50 referral credit per referral. However, when it came time to cash in on their promise they said that because the family I referred was sent to a different location, the referral doesn’t apply. This is nothing less than false advertising and BAD business. 2. My two kids and I all had appointments at 11am. They called my son back and then myself back and said my daughter would be called back soon. However; she wasn’t called until the tech who did my son’s cleaning was done. Therefore, we spent WAY too much time at this office. When a client has an 11am appointment they should be done at 11am…not at 11:45. They did not in fact schedule three 11am’s as we were told. When someone is trying to plan their day off the additional wait time is disappointing. I expected better from this business. I won’t be referring anyone else and next time, IF I come back, I’ll plan for appointments running 45 minutes LATE. They can redeem themselves by honoring my referral fee and keeping appointment times transparent. I’ll be waiting for the office manag
